12/21/06 Major make over for the EXP subwoofer. Why? To make exquisite bass even better, to move the amplifier from the side to the rear which means when the EXP is placed on its side it now requires only 8 inches clearance vs 9.25. And to provide continuous phase control for absolute integration with satellites. We went to a lower wattage amplifier in an age of megawattage subwoofer amplifiers because this amp produces sweet, highly articulate bass and has a tremendous power supply.

on audioreview.com) 5/15/06 Effective 5/15/06 the price of the Model 5 will increase from $349.95 to $395 per pair, and the price of the Model 7 will increase to $299 each. These increases are due to improvements in the speaker and increased costs of production. 2/17/06 Effective 3/30/06, we will increase the price of the Model 10S in satin black to $1,395 and the Model 10S in birch and walnut to $1,495 to reflect increases in the cost of parts and production.

NOW PERFECTLY TIME COHERENT HOME THEATER SYSTEMS   Through extensive research we have developed the best Model 5 ever. In the new Model 5, we use of a horn loaded soft dome neodymium tweeter and a shallow throat carbon fiber woofer and perfectly align their acoustic centers. The result is a loudspeaker that not only improves on the imaging and musicality of the previous Model 5 but one that is more time coherent than most slanted baffle loudspeaker. Because time coherence is achieved without a slanted baffle, which often causes sound to refract off of the portion of the baffle that is ahead of the drivers, the Model 5 has an "openness" that is rarely found at its price point.
